My trip to Boston was last month and I realized that I forgot to tell you all where we stayed and what I thought of it! The good news is that I absolutely loved the hotel — Aloft Boston Seaport District. Full disclosure — the hotel marketing staff was nice enough to host my stay there with my daughter, Samantha. They do know, however, that I tell the truth about where I stay, regardless of a host or not. They will be pleased to know that I can’t say a bad word about the hotel!
I didn’t know anything about the Aloft Boston Seaport District going in. I looked it up online and it looked very contemporary to me. I liked the design and style of the place. Once you get there, it doesn’t disappoint. Located right in the middle of the Seaport District — Aloft Boston Seaport District is also directly across the street from The Lawn on D, which has the coolest swings that light up at night, places to play games and relax.
The Aloft Boston Seaport District is also located near the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and Back Bay and the Financial District. Inside the hotel is the W XYZ Bar, a 24/7 pantry, and their Re:Mix Lounge.
The Aloft Boston Seaport District hotel is pet-friendly — good to know — and they have amenities by BlissĀ® Spa, and more. The bed was super comfortable too. Most importantly, the room was CLEAN, CLEAN CLEAN. A 5-star rating on cleanliness.
I was only here for one night (it was supposed to be two, but my husband took ill back home and I had to leave), but I have to tell you that I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
The ONLY negative thing I can say isn’t even about the hotel itself. It’s about the area because I found a Dunkin’ Donuts and the hotel has stuff you can buy, but I didn’t find much to eat in the area. I didn’t go too too far out of the way, so I’m sure people will prove me wrong, but for planning purposes, you might want to keep that in mind.
Overall, this was a great experience. The staff was so nice too.
