On Location: A Film and TV Lover’s Travel Guide is the 17th book that I’ve written in my career. Some were written with co-authors, who came up with the idea and needed a writer to put it together. Other books were assigned to me by publishing companies. This is my book. I combined two of my favorite things — film/tv and travel — into one book.
It was so much fun to write. On Location: A Film and TV Lover’s Travel Guide is ONLY the USA edition. There’s so much to see outside the States, but this is a start for what you can see here. There are museums in here dedicated to some of your favorite well-known actors. Hotels that you can stay at that were the basis for films (ever hear of The Shining?). Festivals you can attend. Famous restaurants you can eat in. Every day I find more and more material that I want to put into the next edition too. Or a newsletter or both. We’ll see. I’m just getting started.
In the meantime, buy On Location: A Film and TV Lover’s Travel Guide and follow my Reel Travels podcast because that’s where I’ll be doing updates, interviewing people from places that I listed in the book and where you can get up-to-date film/tv tour information. My show even comes with travel agent sponsors that I personally know who are ready to book your next adventure.
You can order the book through Amazon or Barnes & Noble or through Globe Pequot Press website.
